Note: One of my friends actually ran this in an exalted deck... The second he had Elspeth and Ajani he would play this then whispersilk cloak the squirrel and give it Shield of the Oversoul... when a 20/20 rabid squirrel attacks you and its unblockable something inside you ticks and you decide to concede lol

Once form of the squirrel is out you wont be able to cast canopy cover on the token.

if the squirrel dies after the enchantment leaves play do you still lose the game?

obviously this is intended for combo use once using the ultimate ability of the white planeswalker elspeth. Once all your permanents are indestructible and you can't be forced to sacrifice a creature because of the shroud granted by this, you just have to beat down your opponent with your 1/1 indestructible token.

I'm pretty sure donateing this would still cause you to lose when it leaves play because it the effect that refers to you is stated on the card and not given to the squirrel token, it would rely on the spell's controller and not the token's
