It works well with Hidetsugu's Second Rite

Curse of bloodletting and Personal Sanctuary. Just don't pull that one out unless you're ready to dodge whatever beverage your hapless soon-to-be former friend is holding.

This + lifelink definitely boarders on being broken in EDH, IMO.
If they ban Kokusho, the Evening Star, in EDH (which is totally appropriate, IMO), then they really also could ban this... at least as a general... because this + Gisela also is pretty overpowered, IMO...

@ Lord_of_Tresserhorn Gl getting 4 Lotus Petals and Wheel of Fortune in your first hand tard, followed by 4 Seething Songs for your next 7 cards. Now try getting that draw every game. Now pray that you go first every game. If not, you get Disrupted, Dazed, Silenced, Duressed, Inquisition of Kozileked, Spell Snared, Force of Willed, Thoughtseized, Extirpated and you lose, GG.

Hard to even block because it's not targeted. It just blows up everything... Sure that's including you, but why would you be using it if you weren't ahead. Be funny to see a game turn Sudden Death because this guy were untapped repeatedly somehow and everyone got burned down to 1 LP.

Would be an awesome EDH general if you can find a way to protect it and get it past control.
