This creature is an unbelievable menace. Cheap at 4/4 Flyer for 4, with an ability with the potential to devastate an opponent who relies on targeting his own creatures.

If you feel like shenanigans, you can use Quest for the Holy Relic to cheat an equipment onto him. (Whispersilk Cloak or Darksteel Plate, to taste)

Asceticism with Horobi is hilarious. Your opponents can't target your creatures, but you can "regenerate" theirs for the low, low price of

And yes, Horobi looks awesome. Say what you will about Kamigawa's mechanics and power level, but the art direction did everything right.

Awesome card if used correctly. Pair with Cauldron of Souls for ongoing permanent mass removal. It also turns Touch of Darkness and Cauldron Haze into "destroy all creatures your opponents control." I approve.

Horobi + prodigal pyromancer, spam creature kill on enemy. The only problem with it is it says "whenever a creature" instead of opponents creature. I usually avoid cards that can give my opponent benefits as well, you never know when that can backfire.

4cmc for a 4/4 flier, that is always good, I guess the makers thought that the blanket effect was enough of a drawback, that and legendaryness, but really, a good card in a EDH deck w/ black
