Good way to kill off a creature you cast Vampiric Link on, especially in response to your opponent trying to get rid of the aura.

She was obviously made for Ragged Veins, she's expensive otherwise, but with veins, she's amazing for damage and killing ability.

@divine_exodus: once kiku can activate her ability she's not a spell anymore, that's why you can o-ring Emrakul. It's not a spell once it hits the battlefield. His ability only protects him from doom blade, plummet, etc.

Considering that a prodigal pyromancer costs 3 and she only costs 2 and can pretty much kill most creatures or at least finish off a blocker shes above the power curve for cards that tap to hurt creatures. She's actually especially decent for black decks in general, making it difficult for your opponent to keep anything in play from a very early point in the game.

@divine_exodus Umm, Kiku isn't a spell while she is on the battlefield. She is a permanent, not a spell. A fireball for 15 damage wouldn't be able to target emrakul because fireball doesn't become a permanent, it remains a spell. There is a huge difference between something being a spell and being a permanent.
This is why clone can kill emrakul, because because it enters the battlefield as emrakul.
