Hey! He can tap and untap himself infinitely! That's got to count for something, right?

Oh man, in RavX3 draft, this guy was Vedalken Entrancer #4-6...and he was even better as a blocker. Great for Dimir in limited.

Illusionist's Bracers + Tidewater Minion = Infinite untaps? Just target himself with one of the abilities.
Hell, isn't that an infinite mana combo? You target a different land each time, and just keep untapping them for mana.

@ infernox10
Read Betrayal and you'll find out how stupid your comment is.

Slap on a Betrayal so you can as many times as needed.

I like this guy. Reasonably costed defender who can attack in a pinch and essentially acts as an extra mana if needed. Solid.

The cost is too high, but with pretty decent ability.

Something you can do is slip that in with either Dawn's Reflection or Khalni Gem, then enchant tidewater with Freed from the Real. You have an infinited amount of mana.
You could use it with something like Orochi Hatchery, or almost anything with tokens.
Or use Future Sight and be able to play almost anything in your deck. Only roadblocks are lands. In that case, put Ocular Halo on Tidewater too. You play everything in your deck.
Only chances of hiting this combo are with a few Long Term Plans or Parallel Thoughts.
