Run it in your barren glory deck to increase your chances of drawing a hand-emptier. Just renounce this guy and everything else (except of course barren glory) and hey presto you win next upkeep... assuming you don't lose while you're wide open.

Works amazingly with Nath of the Gilt-Leaf, in extended or EDH.

I ran it in a deck with megrim to have the opponent toss his hand while doing a potential 14 damage to his dome, and then refilling my hand with skeletal scrying. It was a nice combo that worked well.
The really amazing thing about this guy is the artwork, though...could Kev Walker be a better artist? I don't think it's even possible.
