Yawgmoth is not and never was a planeswalker, plus he's dead. Sorry SereneChaos, you won't be seeing him in person.

Actually Yawgmoth is most likely not dead. In apocolypse, Karona meets up with a remnant that is "part" of Yawgmoth. And dont forget when Karn saw something that frightened him so much, he had to run. My theory is that Yawgmoth found a way back. He is phyrexia, and the oil is his blood. He most likely will make an appearance in the next set after the next one (if he does at all) The next planewalker thats being made is rumored to be Memnarch.

If Yawgmoth were ever made into a Planeswalker (not unthinkable people- Magic is like comic books, they retcon the hell out of themselves every so often and Karn got a 'Walker card when many people thought it would be impossible) then he would be the only card with a more potentially backbreaking power level than Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker. Pretend for a moment that Magic was like Yu-Gi-Oh and nothing cost mana. Yes, a) it would suck balls so thank God it's not, but b) nobody would ever dispute that Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker is the most powerful they've made, ever. And Yawgmoth would be able to beat him. Situationally.

@powerdude Yawgmoth was never, never will be, never could possibly be a planeswalker.
Works well with Eon Hub

Sword of the meek with a token generator that does 1/1s (lets say flipped garruk) could be really cool, but you wouldve had to win by then to pull it off.

What are the possibilities that Yawgmoth comes back from the dead somehow and goes to Phyrexianised Mirrodin?

How is this guy so old yet so good?
I guess it must be the way artifacts were viewed way back when. Kinda like how Tinker got through.

The SOM block wellsprings work well with him; Meekstone is awesome for him (it helps you live long enough to get to him; and when he needs to untap you just sack it to him!) Spine of Ish Sah is brutal; as mentioned. Unlike other Lord of the Pit variants he only costs you 2 measly life AND it's a "may" ability; making it easy to abuse.
His First Strike is the star attraction here; allowing him to be a very very powerful blocker while also being able to take on almost any flyer out there; except for the other Lord variants themselves!
