Once I used Scout's Warning to play this guy after my opponent decided to just take the damage from a multi-creature attack. Needless to say, that was game.
Selesnya's one of my favorite guilds (at least, in concept/game application) and between Tolsimir and Glare of Subdual, it's one of the best guilds, too.

I also really like selesnya along with the simic guild, with the new multi colored cards in shards of alara cycle you have plenty of white/green to go around. I can't seem to find a bad reason use to naya, there are so many combos with it, including all these classic cards from ravnica. The only issue I have with tolsimir is he's a 6 cmc 3/4, and you can't tap right away, and if you tap the next turn to get the wolf you can't use the wolf right away either. If he ever gets removed your left with a 2/2 wolf. He's sort of a pumped up liege.

Would make for an interesting EDH general.
Note: Tolsimir's tap ability + doubling season + twilight drover = lots of counters.

@ all4ourking: Lauralell counts with that. Tap, make two tokens, both legendary - they go to the graveyard immediately. So, Twilight Drover gets four counters. Repeat each turn.
At any time, you have possibility to pay three and throw away one counter for four flying tokens. Nice, yeah?

@ToidiDiPuts
Tokens go to graveyard, then get removed from the game as a state-based action.
Please know the rules before you attempt to correct someone else for not knowing the rules.
110.5e A token that's phased out, or that's in a zone other than the battlefield, ceases to exist. This is a state-based action; see rule 704. (Note that if a token changes zones, applicable triggered abilities will trigger before the token ceases to exist.)

I think it's funny how his wolf token pal, after the buffs, is stronger than himself.
