It's a shame that such boss art and interesting concept were wasted on a mediocre card.

In drafts people used to take this card all the time because it's a 1/1 Vigilance for one mana, not knowing 1/1 creatures still aren't the beatdown. I took advantage of that all the time.

I like this card in my White Knights deck - yes the ability is expensive - but it only costs one mana to drop so I can have it out first turn if need be.

I think this card would be rated higher if not for the activated ability. I'd probably white-out the ability, and run auras instead. That way, I don't feel ripped off.
