I'm actually really surprised they changed the creature type on this guy. Well, i guess we know where phyrexia is going next...

Your Vorinclex is horribly, horribly broken.

This card exists to start fistfights between reading geeks.
"The name makes no sense!!! The adjective 'sanguine' means peaceful and well-tempered!!!"
"WHAT?!?! Are you really not aware that 'sangre' means blood?!?!"
"OF COURSE I KNOW THAT! But someone who is sanguine, is specifically cheerful and optimistic! Isn't that what the word MEANS?!?! DO YOU NEED ME TO GO GET WEBSTER'S DICTIONARY?!?!"
"That's a fluke! Think about words like sanguinary and exsanguination! Don't those indicate it's entirely proper to associate sanguine with blood?!?!"
(...Reading geeks who are reading this comment have probably observed by now that these two characters are interrobanging each other.)

Looks like there are Praetors on Ravinica too...
This is slightly random but here are some Praetor sized predictions...
Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger 5GGG M
Legendary Creature - Praetor
Infect
Trample
Whenever CARDNAME attacks, all other attacking creatures gain +3/+3, Infect and Trample until the end of the turn.
7/7

Same mana cost, cmc of this card plus the extra mana to activate the ability, is Plague Wind. I'm sure this card was OK in block but not playable now.

So, now that we are Return(ing) to Ravnica this fall, anyone else wonder if this dude (and the associated flavor text) are a hint of what is to come??
I'm not talking about Phyrexia per se (I think we've had enough Phyrexia for a bit) but a "return of the Old Gods" and pre-Guildpact forces.

Why is this guy so much physically stronger than the nephilim he's implied to be a servant of?
