I used him to tutor up Kraj and then some combo pieces.
My friends don't play EDH with me anymore.

This guy, coupled with Animar - Soul of the Elements, and a draw card engine like Soul of the Harvest is a serious problem.
It essentially then reads:
Whenever you cast a green creature spell, pick up your deck and search for a green creature spell and cast it to search for another green creature spell and cast it to search for another green creature spell and cast it to search for another green creature spell.....

Works great with Biovisionary. Play Biovisionary and get a Biovisionary.4.5/5

Just about any legendary tutor makes a strong general because they can pull off comboes easily (some easier than others), get out answers, or play cards that are bad if not for their synergy with another card (aka bad in most EDH decks).

People just refuse to understand that yes, he's a 2/2 for 5, but he also is the head of the +1/+1-counteriest guild there is.

Had an idea for a Momir planeswalker...simic really needs a walker.
Momir Vig, Master Manipulator 2GU
3 loyalty.
+1 put a 1/1 green and blue plant mutant with reach into play.
-2 put target nonland permanent on top of its owners library.
-7 you get an emblem with "creatures you control are simic sky swallowers,"
