"If multiple "extra turn" effects resolve in the same turn, take them in the reverse of the order that the effects resolved. " Useless ruling? No, there are cards with things like "At the beginning of that turn's end step, you lose the game." such final fortune and last chance. Why would somebody play this and time stretch on the same turn? Idk...

I'm pretty sure that, with a topped-off Archmage Ascension and an Elixir of Immortality, a player can have an infinite succession of turns - and only needs to pay the {8}{U}{U} for this every other turn. It just might be good to have something like an Arcanis or an Archivist in play so that you can get other cards to play.

I run this guy in my infinite turn deck. It's just stupid good.

And if you're playing control, lasting long enough to get 10 mana is easy, it's just a matter of patience.

Absolutely hate this card. Great art, though. And to those wondering why the ruling exists, it's probably for the copying examples players have mentioned with Echo Mage, not the caster deciding arbitrarily whether his next extra turn was the first or the second granted by Time Stretch. It's so if I copy your Time Stretch, my copy resolves first, then your original spell, but you get to take your turns first. Which is unfortunate; I really wish the player cool enough to copy this lame spell got to take his extra turn first. Then I could encourage him to take out the other guy before he got his part of the effect. Oh well.

from what i read in the time spiral novels, teferi lost his spark. so he won't be returning as a planeswalker, that's for sure.

This is a fun card, and not always inferior to Time Warp as far as Panoptic Mirror is concerned-
if you only have one mirror, you can imprint Time Stretch as well as another spell... say, Violent Ultimatum. Then, trigger Time Stretch on your next upkeep, Violent Ultimatum the turn after that. Then alternate the two spells, taking as many turns as you wish, and destroying as many permanents as you desire. You can, of course, use Cruel Ultimatum or another, more directly damaging spell, but I have more fun annihilating their board before I swoop in for the kill.

Hardly necessary, but it can lead to some fun times.
