Wasn't around during Future Sight but I would love to draft this card. Merfolk Looter is probably one of my top 5 limited cards.

I really hope we see this expanded upon. Defender and Haste can lead to interesting effects, and Homunculus is a cool as hell creature type.

I think they should keyword this style of haste. Something that allows creatures to use activated abilities immediately, without making them faster for attacking, such as Thousand-Year Elixir does seems like good design space.

I like the design of this card. Multiple very different abilities that still manage to have synergy. Wizards should be making more cards like this. With combinations of abilities rarely used. It adds an interesting factor to gameplay, and also feels fresh.

Why haven't we seen much of 'Indestructible, Haste' or 'Vigilance, Death touch' or 'Infect, Doublestrike'? I hope we see some in the future. granted, doublestrike infect would terrorize. Though it'd still be interesting.

Also dope art.
