In my play group, this card is semi-restricted (we won't run more than 2.) Getting hit with one of these is one of the worst feelings in the world.

What the heck is up with this art, though? Some elf getting wasted on ale while a flamboyantly dressed villain cackles at his drunkenness. Bizarre.

My favorite art. An easy 5/5, and IMO should be banned. Opponents scooping after a turn 1 or 2 Hymn is not uncommon. I had to remove these from my pauper deck to give my friends a chance.

I like this art. I can't say that I prefer it to the other arts, but this scene gives me some strange giddy feeling at the moment when I see it. I get from it a sense of knowing but uncaring evil. Like, I can sit here, across the table from you, and smile at you pleasantly, and know all the while that I'm about to be the cause of your unending torment. ... ... But I don't care...

you guys are totally misunderstanding what's going on in this artwork. the one dude in the hat is casting hymn to tourach, brandishing his cards. the dude with the green and red deck is about to get his ass handed to him by the followers of tourach, all of those shady ass dudes in the background, but he doesn't know it yet. he's all "dude, what does this one do again?" PWNED!!!!!!

Possibly the worst art on a magic card ever, ironically adorning one of the best cards ever. It's a song so dark and disturbing that it drives anyone that hears it insane, and he draws two guys having dinner? I traded all of this version for the Quinton Hoover version when I was a kid.
