As others have said, I can't think of a better 3 mana investment for black in most decks. You don't even have to run vampires for this to be good.

This card makes Vamp Aggro so crazy, it's hard not to call power creep. I just thank my lucky stars it still dies to Lightning Bolt. 5/5.

This is very good, but it really isn't broken. There are plenty of answers to it in Standard, and it's not like your opponent automatically dies if you play it. It's just a good, efficient creature.

This is by far one of the most powerful uncommon cards I have seen in a long time, and it can be slightly annoying to have to play against it. But there are many ways to easily deal with this card, from simple things like Pacify or Lightning Bolt to more desperate moves, such as Wrath of God.

@ Mightyass: In your posting, are you saying that Baneslayer Angel would survive due to having first strike or protection from demons? I was just wondering because basically any creature with a toughness of 3 or greater and first strike would survive on defense (but might need more toughness to survive being multi-blocked if attacking). Nighthawk isn't a demon, so I figured you had to be referring to the first strike ability.
