I personally think Jace is the best of the planeswalkers followed by Chandra and Liliana. I don't know why people compain about the 4 turns that you have to wait to use his ability. Think about it. If you are die hard enough to buy enough packs to have this card, your deck should have this guy covered, especially for a blue deck, which is all about counters. It took a bunch of packs to have this guy and I have no problem keeping him on the field long enough for even 2 of his ultimate ability uses. Sorry if I seem a little agressive. Also you could use him in combination with Underworld Dreams. Oh yeah. If you had four of those your opponent would be gone in no time. Also use him with Liliana so you can send away all of those cards and then bring back all the creatures! If you this die hard, you could add garruk to the end of this combo, so all of your evpansive creatures that you just got from the grave can come back and have trample, and +3/3! I am probobly very biased in my decision ... (see all)

I love this card, and I play mono-white. Whenever I see him, I begin to focus on gathering a massive army of expendable tokens, through Even the Odds, Mobilization, and Cenn's Enlistment... then boosting them with Captain of the Watch, Rhox Pikemaster, and Field Marshal. After that, I let him build up a couple of counters, and then attack him with enough tokens that I get some through, remove a few counters, and enjoy the card draws that he gives me.
Eventaully my opponent will figure out why I've never killed him off... but until then, this card is awesome!

60 card demolition -- Jace Beleren + fork + mirari
if you get them all in turn 7 then it's all over. surely you could find cards to get these combos on your hand by turn 7. Tutors would help.

I've ended a few games with this guy before. Lots of fun. I can keep him alive too, and for some reason, a lot of my opponents sometimes prefer to continue to attack me instead of Jace. :P

Jace is a great planeswalker. He gives you three cards (usually) for three mana. His second ability isn't that good, and he last is only good for mill really. So if you like blue and want to mill; this guy is for you.

jace is very usefull if you play him right if you set your deck up with a variety of cards like tomb scour, traumatize, hedron crab,if you want to make things go quicker add a few howling mines and even archmage ascension ,then round your deck off with cards like ice cage, convincing mirage, paralyzing grasp, spreading seas, mind spring, quest for ancient secrets, and clone and you will be in the game longer then you think add a archive trap or two and see if you dont make you opponent worry about getting rid of some of your other cards before jace if you play with a green and blue deck then you can use your elfs abilitys to draw extra lands and put them into play and make your opponent deal with your elfs first come on i just started you guys have been at this a while if i can figgure out how to get these cards to work why cant some of you

Great card. Worldwake's Jace, the Mind Sculptor is more powerful and with it's ability to bounce creatures, more versitile, but this guy has a more useful +2 ability, and is more dedicated to the mill/draw stratagy. Overall, I'd say the Mind Sculptor is the better of the two, though this one is still great.

He is my favorite planeswalker, he gives you extra draws which every mill deck needs, giving your opponent the 2 extra cards is just gravy 2 more cards closer to deck out, and his last ability will make it game when tripped. Though the new Jace, the Mind Sculptor is just broken, but will be so great to have on your team. This one is much more cost affective at $9.99 where the new one this week went from $29.99 to $59.99 with the lunch of worldwake. I can build a beat all mill deck for the $60 the new Jace is.

an awesome card engine that works all on his own. sure, you may give your opponent cards, but you get 3 total!
