this guy is awesome. it's eight (COLOULESS!) mana, which isn't really a problem now, 8/8, and annihilator 2? and who cares about attacking each turn! You would most likely do it anyway!

This guy is a terror... relatively easy to drop by sacrificing and/or accelerating, and he blows up tons of permanents once he arrives.
So many different combos.... egads. Could be fun to throw a Mammoth Umbra on him for the vigiliance, extra protection, and boost to stats.

For me, this card defines Rise limited better than any other card. I love the Annihilator mechanic - it creates win conditions so different than what we've seen before. This guy can be chump blocked, and he probabaly will, but a slow (but not too slow) destruction of your opponent's board will ensue. If your opponent doesn't find an answer in a few turns he may scoop with 20 life.

Relatively easy to cast, and even if he gets blocked and killed your opponent is down a minimum of two permanents. A fun card.

Kind of absurd how it's downside is your 8/8 has to attack every turn, like you wouldn't be doing that anyways. Eldrazi may be the first in a long line of big creatures to simply not have a real downside. Really makes you wonder what insane mana costs can actually be achieved now with rise of the eldrazi, is autochton wurm suddenly a playable card? Makes novablast wurm look very very playable.

Extremely solid card. Cheap (in terms of the Eldrazi, anyway), efficient and savage. Removal bait, yes, but honestly, left unchecked this thing can win games by itself.

This card was the MVP of the draft I just won. Twice I was able to stick a splinter twin on him, then cast World at War and distortion strike. It wasn't pretty.

This is actually my favorite Eldrazi. Sure, Ulamog is cool, but when will you have 15 mana? 8, though... 8 can be done. The Crusher is exactly what its name suggests: a solid, scary beatstick, and at 8 mana it's a lot more playable than its bigger cousins.
