Personally, this is one of the reasons I hate playing against goblins so much in 'casual/fun' games. They're pretty much the only games my playgroup plays, but the existence of my mate's goblin deck (which he plays most of the time due to it being his most successful), including 4 of these turn 1 nightmares, means that we have to make careful considerations during deck construction that we might not otherwise - like ensuring almost every deck has 1 mana removal, and early defense for the rest of the goblins, and preferably some lifegain because Grenades and Siege-Gang Commanders can get through anyway, and so on.
It's purely my opinion, but half-decent goblin decks suck in casual, and often if I know it's coming I'll use one of my more abusive 1v1 decks (like elfball) out of spite. >.<
PackOfThieves - requires some sort of extra mana ramp in order to pull that off, like a Simian Spirit Guide. Not to mention that Goblin Lackey is never in any decent Kiki-Pestermite deck. ^^
