@zarakstan: Yeah, I found that combo myself within the last week. Ornithopter works just as well as Memnite...I roll with Ashnod's Altar. Throw in some Myrsmiths and some Origin Spellbombs to get things going, maybe some Rockslide Elementals just for grins....so many possibilities...

So many possibilities for this card. Can eventually become very evil with the right artifact choice.
I personally like imprinting a Myr Galvanizer to make the infinite mana combo more accessible, or a Myr Battlesphere. In fact, Mimic Vat does the same if the real battlesphere hits the grave. BEWARE MY ARMY OF GIANT MYR BALLS OF DEATH!!!!
Another thing you can do with this card is, with a fully leveled Lighthouse Chronologist out, imprint Mindslaver in EDH. If you have enough mana, which is easy to pull off with Grand Architect, you can control every turn in the game.

@traumat: All that Mycosynth Lattice does to the cards IN YOUR HAND (which are cards that aren't in play) is make them colorless. It does NOT make them into artifacts.
If you thought Prototype Portal allows you to imprint permanents...then you haven't bothered reading the card.

Does this thing work with Artifact Lands? If so, then amazing. Not only can you combo with any artifact card, but if you're currently dead-hanging, why not just generate enough artifact lands to hardcast the card of your choice?
