Having March of the Machines in play would cause the Mindslaver token to go to graveyard as a state-based effect as a result of having 0 toughness (cmc = 0, not 6), even if it did survive, it'd enter the battlefield with summoning sickness (as a creature)...

This + Voltaic Key. Hilarious. Essentially it's 2: Make a tapped Key, if you compare the inputs and outputs.
I once made 42 (or so) Key tokens in only three turns, made a great amount of mana off an Everflowing Chalice, and fired a huge Fireball against an opponent with lots of life.

Nice card, many uses.
Same problem as with soul foundry though: if you don't get to copy the imprinted card more than once, you better just have played it. And to find of course enough cards with a cheap cmc but that are worth getting cloned this way. In a slow game, imprinting sculpting steel would be fun. Keeps you up to date with the best artifacts for a small manacost. :)

Want to be really brutal? This + Tangle Wire + Voltaic Key = up to seven copies of Tangle Wire = locked down board in your favor. And the best thing is you can tap all those tokens.
