Hm... Clock of Omens can turn artifact tapping into free mana.

So, in order to ever build up more than one counter on it, you'd need to use some sort of untapping like a Voltaic Key, or proliferation?

What do this, Sword of Kaldra, Shield of Kaldra, Helm of Kaldra, and From the Vault: Relics' Mirari have in common? =)

@Darth Parallax:
Donato Giancola, and a very good artist he is.
I like this card. It's quite quirky and has a lot of combo potential.

Handy for multicoloured proliferate...but who runs that?!
(Obviously it's a good card in other respects too)

I think this is my favorite of the many Manalith variants. The ability to save mana from one turn to the next, even just a single point of it, can be huge.
It might finally have some competition, though, in Return to Ravnica's Chromatic Lantern

Coretapper on this when it first comes out will allow you 6 mana on T4 before counting lands. 6 of which are in any color.
Tap him, tap this (2)
Tap him, tap this, (2) sac him (2)
What would I do with 10 mana? How about omniscience,
Then everything else, ever.
