A welcome upgrade of Gravedigger. It's still not fantastic outside of limited, but the old guard needs to be replaced periodically.

I like this card. Both options are viable from start to late game. The second ability allow you to choose a non-creature card, which means a land can be chosen as well. A good target for any repeat recurring.

They printed duress on a stick.. dang.. still costs 4 though. Seems fun for black aggro, throw in some phyrexian ragers and then you got card draw and discard. The second ability sort of goes with sheoldred by getting two creatures back, one to the field and one to your hand. I can imagine bringing back one of these with sheoldred, playing another, and then bringing two creatures back to my hand to play again.

Look at the other clerics in the cycle and see the non-overlap of abilities. This was kind of in the same flavor as such.

Probably run both in EDH though.
Plus Cadaver Imp.
Kind of weird that he hits noncreatures though.

Looks good to me. NP seems to include a lot of tools for MBC; wonder if we'll see it reappear as a viable deck? That would be awesome.
