@sarroth: Yeah, there was an article about that, I remember. But they mentioned its not always obvious whether the characters could or could not meet. Eg. could white Akroma and red Akroma ever meet each other? And how many MtG players know that Karona, the False god was actually created from Phage and Akroma etc. etc.

@Sir_Kaeru: I have to agree with you, flavor-wise, I always thought that the same person represented at different points of his or her life on more than one card shouldn't be able to be on the battlefield at the same time as the other card any more than a card with the exact same name. I'm glad they didn't make the same ruling for planeswalkers at least.

Technically this guy and Kamahl, Pit Fighter should kill eachother because of the legendary rule, but they dont.

small thing, it dosnt say land you controll, it says land, so if you happen to have a leyline of singularity out, thats 2 mana to kill 2 lands, repeatable. i'll take that any day.
