Considering I almost exclusively play casual, I'm glad they brought back Rancor. I have a friend who's been playing for quite a long time now and his green deck wipes me out every time because of this card (and a few others honestly). Now I actually have the chance to play this without having to search the four corners of the earth.
Plus they brought back Erase, so there's at least some protection from the horror.

I played at a tournament and lost badly to a deck that was (seemingly) built around using this card to bring the pain quickly. Man, this card was scary to see, haha. The mana cost of 1 just makes this card crazy. I can see this getting a lot of usage, as it would probably work in about every green deck out there.

The card is great (/captain obvious) but they really should have updated the art. Art in this card didn't make any sense to me back in the Urza's Legacy days and it doesn't make any sense to me today.

The first time I ever saw this, I had to examine it to make sure it was a real card and not just something someone made up. I can see people splashing green just for this. It honestly might be the best Aura ever.
