I wouldn't say that she's a "bad" card, just really expensive considering that soldiers tend to be geared more toward a white weenie playstyle, especially when you can always just pump your tokens with Intangible Virtue for a third of the cost.

6 mana for a 3/3 vigilance and three 2/2s with vigilance is a very good deal, though.

give this card a flying enchantment and its way better than voice of the provinces. imagine this, Odric, The Master Tactician , and the Crusader of Odric on the same field

What happens if my captain of the watch dies in the begining of a combat phase. Does her soldier tokens still get +1/+1 and vigilance ? (yes i am noob)

that being said, this is a great card. Can really swing things in your favor if you need a lot of blockers late in the game and I'm sure she would be a beast with the battalion mechanic. Also Odric's best buddy

You could throw this in with Conjurer's Closet, Cathar's Crusade and Healer of the Pride for three 6/6 soldiers and +4/+4 on all your other creatures and 8 life every turn

lets see, cloudshift Glimmerpoint Stag and if they are silly enough to kill or remove it defy death. in a soldier deck, this is a one card army

This card is in a mono white soldier token deck of mine. Her and Elesh are best friends. Add a cloudshift and a captains call to the mix, then Odric Master Tactician and finally a Crusader of Odric with a whisperslik cloak and you win the game.

I remember when he first came out, I splashed Blue in my solider deck to unsummon him. Now with cloudshift you can do it better in mono white.
