This could have been upgraded to rare, and I wouldn't have blinked. Mono-black looks really good right now.

I always play this with a Stromkirk Captain. It's really hard to lose with that going on.

Forget that he's pretty Black-heavy. Splash Black and run him in every deck with creatures. He's that good.

Okay, but in all seriousness, if you already run Black in any capacity, consider him. You won't regret it 99 times out of 100.

Ugh why would they reprint this after making a set full of vamp buffs? I for one already hated how broken this card is. That aside, it did come out in the same set as murder thankfully. 4.5/5

Lessons learned from the prerelease: Vampire Nighthawk + exalted = opponent loses.

Vampire Nighthawk + Ring of xathrid + exalted = real life opponent dies. It's just that good.
