Excellent in a discard deck that's having trouble with the "what do I do when my opponent's hand is empty?" issue. Also technically instant speed discard: if you can find something your opponent wants/needs enough, you can make them discard their draw immediately.

Can't recall how many times I've told my friends "late enough in the game, and this is AT LEAST as good as vindicate, early in the game, it helps you live until the later parts of the game".
Somehow missed that this was in a duel deck, and now i must have a playset with the new border and the (apparently) crisper colors. (frownie face)

I'm very surprised this never saw a Standard reprint, after we went to Ravnica twice. Dimir would have been awesome. I mean Dimir is awesome already, but this card would fit so nicely in Dimir.
