Kinda lame in my opinion to bring a cheaper Nirkana Revenant back into Standard just for Extort, as its not very competitive. I really like the Orzhov, but besides Obzedat, Wizards killed ALL their rares this set.

This will be broken. I see a limit or ban coming for this thing. Heartless Summoning allows this to hit T3 with 2 mana left over for more shens.

Some one used this to bring out grislebrand by turn 5! I however used healer of the pride+2Fateful hour gather the townsfolkand burn at the stake to beat him

I remember pulling Nirkana Revenant and a foil Pestilence Demon in the Rise of the Eldrazi Prerelease and being all excited. That was one of my favorite mythics. And I feel that this is even better. I going to love this card.

Could and should have been mythic. Look at Nirkana Revenant. Sure her ability was a combo with her +1/+1 ability, but this is pretty much a free extort. Hoping to get a bunch of these. One of Orzhov's best cards along with Blind Obedience.

^ It's official: this thing is legal in mono-black EDH deck, as of 1/25/13.
On an unrelated note, Crypt Ghast makes me wish we had mana burn back. It's Extort ability neatly dodges all those awkward instances where you would have burned when paying odd mana costs.
