I was expecting an Arrest type of effect but that's just me, good card in form and function.

Very nice one-mana removal. Boros is looking pretty strong once this set comes out.

I think this is going to get the immediately recognizable short form of "Chained" that the two removal giants, Path and Swords, have already.

Extremely flavourful. Chain a creature to the mountains so that they can be eternally picked apart by an eagle, just like Prometheus!

I imagine Peak Eruption will be sitting in people's sideboards just waiting to deal with this card...

Damn do I love the card design. It's a shame there isn't a cycle, but then again, it doesn't really get better than exile.

Remember when we all worried about not having a good solution to Voice of Resurgence?
Theros gives us three excellent solutions: Chained to the Rocks, Thoughtseize, and Anger of the Gods.
Against a deck without enchantment removal (and assuming you have a Mountain), this is a sorcery speed Swords to Plowshares. Which is extremely strong.

Like Zombie Apocalypse, just one of those cards I have to play because come on. Look at it! Doesn't matter if it's good or not (thankfully it is very playable), I just have to. The flavor in this set is savory indeed.

Very cool flavor and all, but what makes me love this card is how awkward it it, functionally. Its a land aura that targets a creature, is white but only enchant mountains. It's so messy it reminds me of the good old alpha days of weird wording and strange cards.
