Fail. Last I checked, Nylea was a GodESS.

I just think she could have been an A+ tier god if only her ability gave +3/+3. Even if they had to change the mana cost a bit, add another green symbol or something. +2/+2 for four mana? That's just so lacking.

Shouldn't she be a godess?

This is a bit disappointing. As a Greek-inspired deity, she should have either more or less clothing than that.
Ability-wise, give her access to Leatherback Baloth with backup from Kalonian Tusker and I see potential for fun.

I was looking at the card, and I need official clarification. If it's a creature does it lose the subtype enchantment. the ruleings where not clear on that

It goes without saying that Bow of Nylea is beast with her, but the best use of her as a commander I think uses something similar as a combo.
We all know that deathtouch and first strike/double strike are scary together, but throw in trample and you've got a great deck.
With her, get deathtouchers, first/double strikers, and cards that give those abilities to creatures you control.
Other than that, there is another card that goes really well with her: Mossbridge troll. 25/25 Trample for 7 mana? Suuuure.

To all the people complaining about her not having reach or not giving herself trample:
Think about this from a flavor perspective. The gods are not powerful without their followers and devotion is how we represent that. They are lucky they are able to take on physical form at all and even then don't really have any abilities of their own. They are indestructible because they don't have regular fleshy bodies. They depend completely on their followers to have what little they do have. So it makes sense to me that their "bodies" are indestructible and vanilla at best.
And while technically, yes, she is a godESS. Haven't you guys noticed that WotC likes to streamline things and make them simpler when possible?

So she's a trample giving 6/6 4-drop mana sink. Yeah I think I can find a place for that in my green deck.

The only magic card where we see Avatar in action... outside of the movie.

I think the pump effect may be a bit overcosted, but you could always just use her for the trample effect, which is fine with me. I do so enjoy a Primal Rage that's harder to destroy and has the ability to get up and kick ass.
