Amazing card! Used it on my black deck with Negators, Skittering Skirge and TWISTED EXPERIMENT
With it I won the Portuguese GP Preview tournament (7-0). During the actual GP, I managed to qualify in the top 32. Beat Dirk Baberowski in the first round of day 2. Got ***y and made an embarrassingly bad call in round 2, which got me eliminated from the tournament...
No problem paying half your life at 20, if you get a 7/3 flyer ( with Twisted Experiment ) on the table, and have seen ( with Duress, or from the lands your opponent has played ) that there is little he can do about it. He either top decks a miracle, or is dead in three turns.

Easier to play around than Negator..
It's a 4/4 Flyer for 3; it's gonna make you pay a hefty price!
-Consider that it plays around Tainted Aether and other "cast creature" or "creature ETB" effects and is a creature on the board only when you want it to be.
-Curves nicely into 4-mana boardwipes so you have the only critter on the board!
-Costs minimal life in the late game; and plays favorably with a large variety of cards.
-Consider that this is a finisher that can avoid sorcery speed removal for a turn while nigh-guaranteeing 4-damage downrange. If this were {R}{R}{R}; it'd see play in burn (especially after Flame Rifting yourself..)
-This card is black; if you didn't notice. This is how black works. You craft a huge advantage for yourself (Tombstalker style finisher) by playing around a potentially huge drawback.
-It's also instant speed mind you. See a big flyer barreling towards y... (see all)
