@veldalken_Arbiter: Which was, in and of itself, a functional reprint of Vicious Hunger.

BUt yeah, I think it's safe to say it's a vamp theme.

Lame. Strictly worse than Vicious Hunger, unless you're running a B/X deck and for some reason desperately desire lifegain.

I guess technically the extra 1 CMC is worth it being in instant, but how many of these have you run?

The artwork is disapointing, given the flavour suggested by the title.
For shame.
I guess its a nice enough card though.
