Horrifically strong. If a control deck drops this on you and you don't have an answer, you might as well fold because you won't be playing Magic anymore. Well, it'll be really reminiscent of playing against Stasis/Winter Orb, which is nightmarish unless you have just the right set of cards to escape the lock and still have enough firepower to win. And if you're playing control and you get this dropped on you, it will be a problem soon enough, when your opponent starts to have enough mana to play two threats per turn. I won't even START on what would happen if your opponent Counterlashed or (in some cases) Spelljacked your one spell for the turn.

If any card in the current standard has the potential to be banned, I think this is it. Not necessarily because of power level, but because playing against it has the most potential to be unfun. After all, WotC officially hates Stasis, as well as attrit... (see all)

Not only good for W/U Control, but with Werewolves, it's just ridiculous!

majinara must be the resident troll now that MOE seems to have vanished. This card should have the additional line "If at any point you control islands, destroy this enchantment" to make it fair. And people would still break it.

Incredible effect in control and probably the first curse you should search for if you are using curse of misfortunes

Should be fun to try out. With Fog and Clinging Mists, a TurboFog variant seems somewhat possible.

Likely the most worthy curse to be played, its a one sided Arcane Laboratory and allows you to control your opponent's pace until it destroys the enchant

Commander Review: It hits only one player, so it's much weaker in multiplayer than in 1vs1. The card can range from doing nothing to slowing a player down to a hard lock, combined with cards such as forbid. If you play a white-blue control deck with a lot of counterspells, you might consider adding this, though arcane laboraty and it's copycats, while also hitting yourself, might be more useful in multiplayer.
