I actually think the designers wimped out and did not take the final step... They should have made the card cost 
(so the "Ghostfire is colorless." would have probably become "(Ghostfire is colorless.)") and made it 1/180 in the set - like the Eldrazi or Karn Liberated.
Then it truly would have been revolutionary... And quite a bit more powerful too.

Good sideboard card against blue and white, too expensive to maindeck.
Edit: LokiGodofChaos, this is NOT an Eldrazi card, so it does not get -2 to it's casting cost. Eldrazi spells are (actully, will be, as there are no Eldrazi spells at the moment) ones with 'Eldrazi' in the type line.

If this is from Zendikar, who--or what--the frak is in the picture?
I bet there is going to be a guy called Ugin and he has protection from colors or something like that. I'm going to assume the guy's dragon tatoo is Ugin. I bet the blue one in the cycle will cost {1}{U} and is return target creature to it's owner's hand.

I'm mad this did not get reprinted in RoE, this at least gave you a shot of killing Emrakul, the Aeons Torn with a spell, never mind you would need 5 of them to kill it. I'm holding out hope to see Ghostfire in M11 this Summer.

They said it was UGIN'S spell, not an Eldrazi spell. It wasn't reprinted in RoE because Ugin wasn't printed.
