Throw into a B/W deck with Heroes Remembered, Vampire Hexmage, Sanguin Bond as another win con in case you can't get this guy, Boon Reflection, and all the fun lifelink stuff you can handle.
Put some teeth on your lifgain with Serra's Ascendant, and who knows what else.
This win con is crazy because it can happen more quickly than people realize.

Strengths: Can hit and still block later.
Lifelink helps towards it's own win ability.

Weaknesses: Easily burned or killed.

Although it's easy to remove, the win condition is just too powerful to not have in a life-gain deck. Ajani, meet your new pet cat.

My best friend and I are currently building a deck around this card. It uses a number of cards to gain big life, as well as having Cradle of vitality/ Battlegrace Angel combo as a asecond win condition.

EDH deck with Treva, the Renewer.

Behemoth Sledge, Armadillo Cloak, Sovereigns of Lost Alara, & Charging Troll can all be great tools, this guy just adds a win condition to the deck.

I think win condition cards are lame, but you're free to think otherwise. "I am healthy and have a cat sitting on a mountain top, so I win" wtf is that? Makes no sense to me, can anyone explain the general idea behind the flavour? Is it some immortality thing? Would appreciate it.

Nice kitteh

@shadoflaam
This isn't legendary, and cannot be a general

@kothsapprentice
Double bolt investment is not an easy burn
However it does die to removal, but the again, so does virtually everything in magic.

Would the rules change at all if you tried to use this in an EDH deck. Could possibly rock that format if it doesn't.

This card will be just plain cheap in Archenemy if you're the solo player. Archenemy players start at 40 life, so as long as you don't lose life by the time you can play this card, you win the game. That'd just take the whole fun out of the new format.

@ChampionofSquee: You must be referring to your own playgroup's rules, because that is exactly how it works. There are no rulings on the card that change this card for those formats or points in the Comprehensive Rules that state that. Just like Serra Ascendant, Divinity of Pride, and poison, the life totals are set for these cards' abilities unless stated in the future. Though this doesn't stop playgroups from making their own x2 changes, as yours seems to have. I am all for that.
