Because Traitorous Instinct wasn't JUST reprinted.

As a common.

Wow, I'm getting some real Baron Harkonnen vibes from this - anyone? Luxury + the grotesque ftw.

I enjoy the battalion mechanic quite a bit, because it's a little sub-goal to achieve in each game with a pretty decent pay off.

Getting three creatures attacking isn't always as easy as it sounds though, often because of some nasty blocker, or you only having two creature because your opponent keeps picking them off, or finally having a third creature but it can't attack yet because it was just summoned and doesn't have haste.

This card was usually all it took to take my two not-so-elite Boros Elites and have them push through and kill my opponent.

Playing EDH with a friend the other day, Melek(me) vs Marath(him)
He has a Hamletback Goliath on the field that quickly grows to 30/30 or so, and I'm in eminent danger of a crushing defeat at its hands. I chump off my Mercurial Chemister without getting to use his abilities, so I'm now sad AND worried. I proceed to top deck this card as he has tapped all his attackers and has 3 cards in hand. Needless to say, I swung with it for the win. If he tried to Gruul Charm it back, I had Fling as a backup plan.

Sometimes I'm glad to see new art on a card. This is not one of those times.

Hum , does it steals gogs for good ?
Cause taking a god that is a creature and is not anymore when you are in control of it cause you can fulfill the devotion would not make it a non valid target to goes back cause it isn't a creature anymore?
If you can sack the creature it doesn't goes back cause it had ceased to be a creature or on the battlefield.

While most people use this to steal creatures, it can also be used on your own creatures to give them haste or untap them following a sleep type effect or after combat as well. 3 mana for that much Utility seems pretty reasonable.
