Make a fine EDH general. White is a strong mono color. They can deal with any permanent, and are good at protecting their own.

@gtamaster503: Iona is amazing. And the other angel Akroma can't kill is Avacyn, Angel of Hope. Both are far stronger than Akroma.

Akroma does have the best flavour text ever though. EVER.

Phage and Akroma probably would have been the mythic rares from legions if that rank had been around at the time

To animate her, you don't use a black enchantment. They fall off, and she goes right back where she came from. (You could waste a card doing Sleight of Mind, or something, but you won't.) In a regular deck, if you haven't already lost by the time she shows up to the party, your opponent deserves what's coming. Pretty intimidating, but still mortal. Iona and Avacyn are dumb. Linvala, too, if you're keeping score. Old angels forever. 5/5
