I can't tell you how many times I've been blocked by this, then had my opponent play hunger of the howlpack on it cuz it died.
Then he swings a 5/5 pup back at me on his turn.

Wouldn't you be able to combine this with heartless summoning and have an infinite chump blocker? because it comes back with a +1/+1 but the heartless summoning gives him -1/-1. In this logic undying and heartless summoning cancel each other out.

this + Ghave, Guru of Spores + Ashnod's Altar led to a suprising and rather quick game of EDH for me one day. Too bad it was me getting combo'd on.
