i always imagined that doomblade has a weakness to black, because only black creatures are bad enough to withstand the asskicking that a doomblade dishes out

I miss Doom Blade. Murder may be unconditional, but 3 mana is a lot.

Also, Doom Blade just sounds so cool.

It is the most un-fun deck I have ever played.

It's just.. so simple and EFFECTIVE. Imagine being beaten to death by a 20/20 trample dude because you have no way to get rid of him. That's not nice!

This is SO simple, and REALLY effective. Sure, Go For The Throat is generally better, but I don't own that card :P

Two sixty dollar foils in the GY over three bucks worth of Clones and D Blades...
Highly unlikely, yes. A moment to remember? Absolutely.

I have always loved the name of this card and I've always loved the artwork.

But son-of-a-b if it hasn't killed a billion billion of my creatures while I was still learning the game. Vines of Vastwood was one of those "hey, you figured out the game!" moments for me.
