I know it's been said in articles, but Sphinx of Uthuun is awesome with this. With one it is a 4/5 flier plus Fact or Fiction for only 5, with 2 out it is a 3-mana 3/4 flier plus the card advantage. So, so sexy.

Makes Treasure Mage U: Search your library for Wurmcoil Engine.
This card with T-Mage, Wurmcoil, Grand Archcitect, Myr Superion. One of my favorite decks I've ever played.

Why is this card still around the 2$ mark? This makes many creatures at such a ridiculous power level for the cost they're being played for.

In addition to stuff like Myr Superion and, well, anything that's big and beats face (curving into 5-drops especially well), it's also good with evoke creatures.
...
What? They were gonna die anyway!

File this under "awesome-seeming cards that we are going to spend way too much time unsuccessfully attempting to combo off of in the next year" right alongside Rooftop Storm.

The only thing I can think of offhand is Heartless Summoning + Priest of Gix. Find a way to bounce it and you have an infinite mana and storm generator.

It's nice to have a Sol Ring for creatures that never goes away, especially as the draw back won't matter to much as you'll be playing the fatties' for there abilities rather than there body's.

@monkeymonk42: Yeah, 4 less mana with no drawback on Elesh Norn is something, but you are forgetting you're using 2 cards to do so.

Anyway this is one of my favourite ISD cards, and I'm really surprised someone hasn't dominated constructed with a degenerate deck revolving around Heartless Summoning yet.

This card is so awesome! I played this around a birthing pod deck. I put glyssa and her combo with perilous myr in, and also splashed blue for tezzeret, just to get the artifacts. So much fun

pretty much justifies every creature card with a decent ETB ability turning some terrible creatures into effective sorceries. Cards such as Farbog Boneflinger which seem like crap on their own become. "B: target creature gets -2/-2 until EOT, activate Morbid."
