I can see it was alright for the time... I mean, 1 toughness is not really much. Just distroy it and then distory your opponent. You would have to have combos to stop it being killed or removed, which I think would take too much time. Meh, not bad.

One of these Days, I Am Going to Build Naya Zoo using Ali from Cairo and Djinn of Wishes. Why? Who would do that? Robin Williams would get it ;D
Make way for Prince Ali
Say hey! It's Prince Ali
Hey! Clear the way in the old Bazaar
Hey you!
Let us through!
It's a bright new star!
Oh Come!
Be the first on your block to meet his eye!
Make way!
Here he comes!
Ring bells! Bang the drums!
Are you gonna love this guy!
Prince Ali! Fabulous he!
Ali Ababwa
Genuflect, shom some respect
Down on one knee!
Now, try your best to stay calm
Brush up your Sunday salaam
The come and meet his spectacular coterie
Prince Ali!
Mighty is he!
Ali Ababwa
Strong as ten regular men, definitely!
He faced the galloping hordes
A hundred bad guys with swords/autocard... (see all)

LMAO @ THE NOT TOO GOOD COMMENTS. Yea i guess 1 toughness would matter if they had some way of hitting it with 1 damage. Your not swinging with it. how hard is it to drop lightning greives on T2??? now hes only valnerablue to board wipes. Shield of Kaldra is fancy but works, but theres TONS of other ways to make him indestructable. BUT SO AND SO CARD IS BETER..... WHY NOT JUST PLAY SO AND SO CARD. why not just shut up and go drown on your own saliva, hows that sound?

Back in the day of casual games, this guy was considered rather cool. Of course, back than there were not as many ways to kill creatures or - most likely - people tended not to play them since everyone was more focused on summoning their own huge creatures. As it is, this poor fella isn't terribly useful today, though he gets a few points for being strikely out of flavor for red.

I've got a question. What happens when you have an Ali from Cairo and a Sylvan Library in play? Can you draw 3 cards each turn and take the damage of 8 every single time even if you're down to one?
