The P3K version of Monstrous Growth. I never really got why this was only a sorcery.
Inferior to Might of Old Krosa most of the time.

Shadoflaam has no idea what he's talking about. Portal existed to be a version of Magic that was easier to learn. I agree with achilleselbow that it was a stupid idea (in addition to his point, it's also irritating that for P3K they created the unique and utterly unnecessary keyword ability Horsemanship, which led to prices of P3K skyrocketing). Thankfully now they have Duels of the Planeswalkers to get new players interested, because nobody misses Portal.

It's only a Sorcery because I think Portal only has creatures and sorceries.
I never got why the Portal sets need to exist. There are plenty of regular simple cards for new players to learn the basics. Any Portal cards people buy just become a waste after like a week of playing.

This portal set existed because Magic wanted to allow the country that made the cards to actually play with them. Not that they could afford them but still...
