Not strictly better than Storm Crow...I'd much rather have Storm Crow for blocking purposes anyday since Wu Light Cavalry lacks flying...

I'd play that one over Metathran Soldier since an effectively unblockable 1/2 body is more useful than an unblockable 1/1 body.
