Hmm. You could actually put this on an opponent's creature, and you would still get the benefit.
Not sure why you would, though.
It makes a nice combo with Crown of Flames/Ghitu Firebreathing, though.

Who put this on par with black lotus? After playing an enchantress deck splashing in red (I did the same with each color, just to shake things up) I have to say this is an awesome card.

this card can be deceiving it's not "enchanted creature gets +1+1 and first strike" it's any enchanted creatures you control get +1+1 and first strike. so if your making deck has enhancement aura in it this is a consideration.

That being said, this card is a 1.5/5 because it screams card disadvantage.

Does Fencer's Magemark work on enchantment creatures? I'm running an enchantment deck filled with enchantment creatures so do they get the first strike too?
