This thing is stuffed with flavor. Tapping the ship feels like you're firing a broadside, but attacking with it (when you're able to) feels like your pirates are raiding an island or a sea port. Funny thing is that your pirates do more damage in melee combat than when firing the ship's cannons. Guess they're a bad shot? or perhaps the ship isn't well equipped - mind you, it has to be light and swift to catch up to those Merchant Ships.

Like most other largeish creatures with a tap ability, this is a waste. If you just want to use the ability, Prodigal Sorcerer is significantly cheaper, and who cares about the body? On the other hand, if you plan to use it as an attacker, then you won't get any use out of the tap.
