Lure was the only card that made rampage even notable, otherwise it is lame. Shoudla just been an ability on this card alone.

Meh, I'll say what I say to all rampage 2+ critics: Lure

This card + Lure = Dear God. Yeah, he's expensive, but watch this guy wade into a horde deck of 1/1 tokens with a lure on him :D

Now, now, Craw Giant, the proper term is "dwarves".
He's really expensive and green-intensive for a pretty low-toughness guy with trampling rampage, which may seem cool, but it's not.

I think Craw Giant is a pretty cool guy. Eh kills multiple blockers all day and doesn't afraid of anything.

He's G too expensive, should have been 3GGG. That said, he's one of only four creatures on which rampage was a benefit, rather than being utterly worthless: Craw Giant, Gorilla Berserkers, Teeka's Dragon, and Varchild's War-Riders.

Hmm..........Grappling Hook for an auto blocker and double strike to this?

At the time, he was notable just for being a big trampling fatty with no drawback (aside from his high mana cost). Most cards his size with trample, you needed to pay mana during your upkeep, or sacrifice things, or the like.

rampage would be more noticeable if it was like rampage 5, which would just be awesome
