Ok... I played this guy back in the day... I'm gonna tell you, this guy won more games for me than I ever thought he would... When I built the deck he was my late game defensive guy for my green/red aggro deck... Well I was having trouble with a white/green "nip at your knee" deck... Well as usual I put a lure on him to clear the way so I could blood lust my unblocked attackers... Well it got really intresting when my opponent berserked one of his creatures to kill my giant... Needless to say I was holding two fork's, a bloodlust and 6 possible mana... Yes sir.... Mr. Giant became a 64/48 trampler... Shortly after.." Hey!!! Anyone got some berserk' s to trade???

Rampage and Banding are both mechanics I would like to see 'fixed'. THEORETICALLY, they should be pretty cool, because you can totally 'see it', flavor-wise. in PRACTICE, they have not quite delivered too well.

But there might, there just might be a way to change that. Sometime in future sets. Here's hoping they make Banding and Rampage as good as they are supposed to be.

This is one of the earliest cards I remember. My friend Got into Magic probably around 5th Edition and I remember him reading the flavor text off this card. He also taught me how to play.

This guy was responsible for a lot of victories back in the high school cafeteria. Sometimes I miss the old days, when grossly overcosted creatures with fairly regular abilities were chase cards just because they had big numbers in the corners. All of my friends were jealous that i had not one but TWO of these bad boys, legends packs were always hard to find even when they were in print.
