Jayemdae Tome is clunky and costly, as card draw should be. It can't be used effectively as a card draw engine. Instead, it's a last resort. You use it when there's nothing else you can do. With that said, the Tome is a useful card that has certainly withstood the test of time. The designers got this one right.
