I think this deserves a little more credit than people are giving it. There's a lot of utility wrapped up in this card. It can mess up combat rather nicely- add that extra damage to an enemy creature in combat, or prevent that fatal damage against one of your creatures in combat. At the very least, she'll prevent one damage to you every turn.

I love this card. It is my White Pinger of choice. Basilisk Collar, makes it pretty funny. It's nice for a good defensive line. Also the art on this card is one of my favorites.

Seems pretty versatile to me, it can:
-Save creatures in general (blockers and attackers) by preventing damage or pinging opponent's creatures.
-Block a creature with 2 or less power alone and survive, by tapping itself (using 2nd ability) after declaring blockers to prevent 1 damage to itself.
- Take down a creature with 2 toughness by blocking then tapping itself (using 1st ability) to deal 1 extra point of damage to the attacking creature.
-Prevent damage to you.
-Pick off creatures with 1 toughness in combat, while still being able to block while doing so.
-Very relevant creature subtypes (Human, Archer, Cleric)
-Direct damage to creatures in {W}, not easy to find.
