I think people are hating on this card a little... 1 life per spell definitely is not too bad. If you run a mono-black, this card can be a big help, particularly if you have a lot of spells which need life as a sacrifice.

A lot weaker than newer artifacts, but I've seen waaaay worse on the artifact side.

Strictly worse than Demon's Horn. But then, so were a lot of cards in the earlier versions.

I am posting this comment from my nintendo 3DS while using the internet browser function! anyways, this card wasn't great back in the day, and it is even worse now. Still allright though.
